NJ Small Business Alliance ~ United We Stand, Together We Fly!
Lorena Ramos is Honduran-born artist and professional who serves on BOD in the role of Vice President of our alliance, NJ-SBA.
We are honored to have such a talented, spiritual and devoted Board of Directors member in our circle.
"From Pain to Paint" - check out Lorena's story and her soulful art.
Born in Honduras Tegucigalpa DC, mother of three children, she is a naturalized U.S. Citizen. Lorena graduated from Berkeley College as a Physician Assistant. She serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Small Business Alliance. She is also assisting at the Ecuadorian and Peruvian Consulates as a medical professional for NY and NJ patrons in need of preventive healthcare.
A very skilled and accomplished artist in multiple areas, Lorena started in the art of fashion. She graduated from Instituto Nacional at her native Honduras as a professional designer in haute couture. Instituto Nacional is a prestigious institution that bore many fine art professionals, craftsmen and artisans. Lorena’s original creations take inspiration from nature in her native land. Dominant is the play of colors in the landscape and ever present life’s diversity. Basking in the many of her creations one can feel the human soul coming out of the canvases. Lorena is using a mixture of different techniques to create true and distinctive pieces of art. The passionate artist also has an expertise in the handling of a variety of industrial machines for the manufacture of garments. Lorena has demonstrated great skill in the use of these sophisticated instruments while making uniforms for the army as an operator.
Lorena Ramos is a very intelligent woman with a humble and very charming personality. The empathy she radiates is contagious. She is passionate, charismatic, and affectionate, and is admired and respected by people she encounters. Lorena’s art is captivating and allows for imagination to fly. She is recognized for her spirituality and sensitivity and as an artist of vivid colors. Her canvases reveal the influence of Latin American culture. Lorena affirms that her creativity and her muse are the same God who lives within herself and gives her the wisdom to create her craft. Her charitable actions and her love for people are one of her most remarkable qualities. The artist who shines with her own light is compassionate for the less fortunate. Part of her earnings as CEO of Starfinest7 are used to alleviate some financial needs for those less fortunate. Many of her works have been displayed in art galleries such as Art Space in New York, Museo del Barrio NY, in the theaters, and many other venues as part of the New Jersey Artists Collective, where she has been working for the past seven years.
Lorena’s life story, her failures, but also her triumphs and victories are captured in most of her paintings. Her altruistic approach to lifting others comes from her own experiences, from the time of her broken wings and inability to fly high. Spirit of peace is reflected in the artist’s life and art. Lorena’s favorite phrase, “Never let fear hold you back, what hurt you yesterday is what makes you stronger today”, is like a mantra to her approach to all layers of her life and art. Lorena launched Star Finest7 Inc., where she serves as CEO to fulfill her calling, her entrepreneurship, and to continue growing as an artist and a great entrepreneur.
