***The grant awards range between $500 and $10,000***
Grant Eligibility and Usage
GRANT ELIGIBILITY
APPROVED USE OF GRANT FUNDS
APPROVED USE OF GRANT FUNDS
- Business entity must be NJ based + in continuous operation from inception
- Have annual sales below $500,000 and have fewer than 20 employees
- Must be owned by NJ resident(s)
- Applicant must be a member of the NJ Small Business Alliance
- Applicant must be a for-profit entity
- Proof of incurred expenses must be available for inspection to NJ Grant coordinators
- Business must have tax clearance from NJ / IRS
- A business plan must be made available for review
- The grant recipient must agree to work with a NJ-SBA preferred accountant / tax preparer
